Storage Losses

    Problem
  • There is around 5 -10% loss in open storage.
  • As they have small produce they don’t have incentive to build storage facilities.
    Solution
  • Induce adoption of hygienic post-harvest practices by building up a grid of micro warehouses at village level for each farmers.
  • Facilitate the FPOs to build warehouses in which storage is done through scientific methods.
  • 33% to 50% Government subsidy is provided to build warehouse.
